On 26th February, Brian and Alice from Heartstart came to teach 1st Aid to our Year 4 children.
During the session the children were taught how to react to a medical emergency by using the mnemonic ‘DRS ABC’ Danger, Response, Shout for help, Airways, Breathing and CPR.
After watching two short video clips detailing when to ring 999/112 for help, the children put their partners into the recovery position.
