Year 5 an 6 Athletics Tournament
On Monday 15th January twelve of our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in The Basingstoke Schools Sports Hall Athletics competition at Costello Secondary School. We finished a respectable 5th out of 9 schools overall. Our best achievements were finishing 1st place in the boys 1 lap sprint race and the boys 2x2 relay race and long jump. The girls achieved second place overall in the 2x2 relay, speed bounce and javelin. For a small school this is a proud achievement and demonstrates Cliddesden's commitment to sport and fitness. The children also showed outstanding teamwork and supported each other throughout the competition.
