High Five Netball Tournament
On Tuesday 13th March, the Cliddesden Netball Team went to Russell Howard Netball Courts to play in a five a side competition. Altogether we played 7 teams and came 2nd overall. As we came 2nd we are going through to the second round on the 19th April where if you come 1st or 2nd you would go through to the county games.
When we first got there, we had a team photo in our kits. As we walked on the courts, the adrenaline kicked in. We all got our positions but every game we had to change positions. On the first game, our team spirit was very high and that managed to last throughout the day! We all knew our positions and we were ready to go on.
In the first game, we played Bishopswood and we beat them 1:0. In the second round, we went against Bramley and we drew with them 2:2. In round 3, we won 3:0 against Ashford Hill. In round 4, we won 4:0 against Oakley. Sadly, in the 5th round we lost against Burnham Copes 5:1. But that didn’t stop us from coming 2nd!
