Summer Fete
Our Summer Fete and Family BBQ proved to be a huge success this year. Despite the weather and a very wet set up we managed to smash our totals from last year and raised a whopping £2000 for the school!
There was something for everyone, from old skool games such as hook a duck, lucky dip, welling wanging, a tombola, a KIA car raffle, meet & groom Lilibet the horse, meet the Hampshire Fire & Rescue service and many more exciting stalls. The event ended with our BIG Summer raffle in which there were many great prizes up for grabs such as M&S vouchers (kindly donated by The Property Explorer) meal vouchers for local pubs and tickets for the Discovery Experience at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. Our raffle raised £550 this year smashing last year's total of £371.
The Friends of Cliddesden Committee would like to thank everyone who took part from the set up, Mr Hemphrey, our ever helpful caretaker, attendees and all the performers and volunteers manning stalls and our not forgetting sponsors, Snows KIA of Basingstoke and The Property Explorer - it was truly a great afternoon had by all!
