Athletics Final
Cliddesden athletics team continued to demonstrate determination and stamina at the Athletics final held at Aldworth School.
Each team member worked hard using their athletic skills in the throwing, jumping and running events.
The competition was fierce as we competed against the top 7 school teams in Basingstoke. The running in particular was taken to another level.
Carys and Maia did Cliddesden proud with consistently long throws in the javelin. High levels of stamina were shown by Samuel and Luis in the speed bounce, adding high scores to our total. Triple jump was another event Fred and Adam excelled in.
Cliddesden athletics team took a respectable 8th (230) place scoring closely to the two other small schools in the competition: North Waltham (245) and St Martins (244). The reigning champions over many years won: St Marys, with a score of 438.
