Year 6 vs Staff Football Match
As part of our Year 6 Leavers celebrations we held a Year 6 vs Staff Football Match.
It was an exciting, end to end match with Elliot scoring first. The Year 6's were then shocked when Mr Davies equalised and even more so when Mrs Nicholson put Staff 2-1 ahead. Not for long, Elliot scored a second bringing the score line to 2-2.
The match ended 2-2 at full time although staff still argue that they had a goal disallowed and that the ball did go over the line which would have meant they would have won 3-2 - if only we had goal line technology! The referees decision was final and the match went to penalties.
At 1-0 on penalties to Year 6, our Headteacher, Mr Davies did a 'Chris Waddle' and blasted it over the bar. Year 6 then deservedly won the game.
