Today we had a visit from our local policeman PC Reid. In an assembly he talked to the children about his role and how he helps us and the community keep safe and abide by the British Value of the rule of law. He discussed how it is important to have laws to keep everybody in our society safe. He also mentioned that some laws are nearly 200 years old - for instance did you know it is still illegal to catch a rabbit on a Sunday?
