Visit by Councillor Peter Edgar
On Wednesday 23rd March we had the honour of a visit from Councillor Peter Edgar. The executive member for education at Hampshire County Council, Peter Edgar has served for many years as a leader in the county council executive cabinet.
Councillor Edgar was given a comprehensive tour of the school by our Junior Leadership team, Amanda, Jack, Carys and Sebastian and met with our Headteacher Mr Davies and Chair of Governors, Reverend Stephen Mourant. He also had a chance to chat with some of our teachers and other pupils.
Councillor Edgar was very complimentary about the school noting how polite and confident our children were. He also said how nice it was to visit a school with a historic building and beautiful surroundings
