KS1 Cookery Club
KS1 children had the opportunity to join our 3 week Cookery Club.
13 budding Masterchefs came along to learn 3 important rules of the kitchen: hygiene, how to be safe and to have fun.
We were keen for the children to make recipes and sample ingredients that they may not have been use to.
Not only did the children learn the 3 important rules of the kitchen but they also demonstrated how well they took turns and helped each other.
Week 1
Lunchtime and teatime
Cream cheese and grape wraps
Grated cheese, carrot and mayonnaise pittas
Egg, ham and mayonnaise pittas
Fruity flapjacks

Main meal
Spicy chicken pasta with mango chutney
Side salad of cucumber, tomato and mint

Banana, pear and chocolate chip crumble
