Dodgeball Competition
Everyone at Cliddesden Primary School enjoyed a sunny dodgeball competition to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The children kindly brought in a £1 donation, which will help the British Heart Foundation continue their life saving work doing research, making discoveries and offering information, support and care to heart patients and their families.
Oak and Chestnut Classes begun the competition using their skill in aim, power and agility to play each of the teams. The children left standing on the pitch at the end of each competition were awarded house points.
Willow and Beech continued to demonstrate their ball skills against each other and enjoyed cheering for the other teams with some excellent pom pom action!
In the grand finale the children who had brought in an extra pound were able to make teams and play against the teachers. Much to all the children's enjoyment the teachers, including Mr Davies took some hits and were out on numerous occasions!
Our winning house in the Dodgeball competition was: Ellisfield followed by Winslade, then Farleigh and finally Hackwood.
Thank you to all the sports leaders for your organisation and scoring, especially during the teachers games.
We are proud to say after a morning of competition Cliddesden Primary School have raised £180 for the British Heart Foundation.
