Conker Competition
A big thank you to Mark Barden for organising and running this year’s Cliddesden Conker Competition which is very much a highlight of our school calendar!
A change to how we have previously hosted this tournament with each class competing against each other rather than as a whole school which resulted in an equal amount of excitement.
The children had the opportunity to enter and a draw took place within each class. Each competitor was allowed 3 hits each and each match was closely judged. The first round was followed by the quarter, semi and finals within each class.
Beech Class Winner
An all girl final between Darcey and Ellie-Rose led to some interesting conker techniques!
Chestnut Class Winner
Another all girl final between Elspeth and Hope with much support from their fellow class mates.
Oak Class Winner
A sibling final between Thomas and Katie with the more experienced becoming the overall winner.
