Oak Class Parent Workshop
Throughout the Autumn term Oak class has been learning all about India in our topic Incredible India. We have learnt a lot about India, including the geography of India, famous Art like Henna and Rangoli, famous people including Gandhi and Indian dance. We have also covered the topic of The Indus Valley in an in depth mini history topic.
We invited our parents and grandparents to take part in our India themed morning, including an Indian dance to the song Jai Ho. We learnt the routine over a series of lessons and thoroughly enjoyed learning new moves and showing this to our relatives. Many thanks to Mrs Pennington for her expertise.
We then challenged our parents to take part in a class quiz. All the questions were based on our topics learnt over the term.
