Willow Class Parent Workshop
Willow Class had an afternoon of parent workshops. Some of our grown-ups from home came into school and helped us with art projects linked to our topic. Different stations were set up around the class and we moved around in turn to: paint the fire, collage flames, cut out buildings, use i-pads to look at pictures of houses from that era and then draw them, which was a little tricky but we were very pleased with the fantastic drawings we produced.
Then it was our grown-ups turn to be at school for a lesson. They went to a phonics workshop to find out just how hard we work and all the ways we learn our sounds to help us read and write.
