Oak Class - Tangle Production

On Tuesday 19th January Oak Class were fortunate enough to be visited by four very talented actors who work for the South West England’s African Caribbean theatre company A.K.A Tangle and they visit many schools in England. They visit schools to make children more globally aware of countries and cultures in the world.
The performance was about four cousins who had sadly lost their aunt and received a boat to travel across the Atlantic Ocean visiting different countries including Trinidad, Brazil and South Africa. The actors sang songs at every country they visited in many different languages, including Portuguese, Jamaican and South African.
All of Oak Class enjoyed the performance and at the end the actors/singers performed one final song in Zulu (a South African language.)
Once the song had finished Oak Class were free to ask the actors and director any questions.
In the performance, the director mentioned how, there were no instruments, props, or scenery. Overall it was a brilliant performance and all of Oak Class enjoyed it.
