Science Challenge
The Undiscovered Elements.
On Thursday 23rd June Hope, Elspeth and Fletcher went to QMC to take part in the Consortium primary science finals. It was a very exciting day that started with watching some amazing experiments and eating ice cream made using liquid nitrogen.
Then it was their turn- They had planned and carried out an experiment to test which materials were the most absorbent. They gave a presentation in front of scientists and engineers from AWE to show what they had discovered and answered some very tricky questions. All the adults were impressed with their knowledge and confidence.
Over all they came runners up to the winners and proudly brought home a glass trophy, 2 science books for the library and some certificates. Well done to you all!
