Dear Diary,

What an excellent week I’ve had at PGL. It was amazing. And we did lots of fun activities; however, it was exhausting. I conquered so many of my many fears and made unforgettable memories.

The trapeze. One of my biggest fears – without the snow and the hail! My whole body was trembling, possibly from the cold but mainly in fear. Climbing up the pole was…. Well, let’s just say mind-blowing. When I got up the pole it was shaking left, right and centre. I had butterflies in my tummy. I jumped. It was terrifying. I had left my tummy behind, on the top of the pole. When I finally got back to the shed everyone was doing aerobics to keep themselves warm so I joined in. Ryan, James and Mrs Green all led part of the aerobics. After the aerobics we went up onto a field and played games to keep us warm. I loved watching everyone conquer their fears. I was very proud of myself for doing trapeze. I felt as happy as ever. I thoroughly enjoyed trapeze, despite the snow and the hail, and I would definitely do it again.

Overall I really enjoyed PGL and made some amazing memories I will never forget. I would definitely go again and will recommend it to year three and four.

Dear Diary,

Well I have had a brilliant week at PGL, and taken part in loads of fun activities and as an added bonus it was with all my friends – Frankie, Archie, Harrison and Olivia. Me and my classmates have made so many unforgettable memories on this trip.

Out of all the activities this has to be one of my favourites – the trapeze. It was very cold and boring sitting in the hut, but I found a great way to keep warm – snuggling up to Mrs Smith! Then it was my turn. To climb up a monstrous tower and jump off! So the instructor called me over and checked my harness and I was signalled to start climbing. So off I went trembling with fear….. and frostbite! As I climbed up the ladder, it wobbled like jelly and made me feel very concerned. Finally I reached the pole; I suddenly found my feet taking me quickly up. Now almost swaying with fear, I reached the tiny platform.

Slowly I swung my stiff leg onto the platform and sat up. I tried to force myself to stand up but my muscles were very stiff and tight I couldn’t so I just decided to stay sat on the tiny platform. I gave our instructor a thumbs up, and I heard the rest of my team counting down 3 …… I had to man up, 2 ….. Oh God! 1 ……. AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!   I was violently swinging from side to side, dangling on a rope, I looked back to see if I’d left my stomach behind…….

Overall I super-duper-enjoyed my time at PGL and I would most certainly recommend it. How did I survive that week? Me and my friends have made some memorable moments and inside jokes I’ll never forget.

Thank-you PGL
