Shiver me timbers!
All the children worked really hard with their families to come to school in wonderful pirate costumes.
Willow class enjoyed a fun albeit chilly treasure hunt! Each child in Willow class had written a clue for our treasure hunt and everyone who came to our pirate adventure had to use their phonic knowledge to work out which letter they needed to hunt for. When all the letters of the alphabet were found the Captain unveiled the treasure. We all delved into the treasure chest and found lots of games to play. Snakes and ladders was a hit and challenged us to count carefully! We also enjoyed some delicious golden and silver treasure.
To round up our pirate adventures we had a sing a long with Mr Davies accompanying us on his guitar.
