Year 5 Science Challenge
On Wednesday 6th May students from QMC College came into school to do some amazing experiments with our year 5 (and a few year 4’s too).
The experiment was testing the density of different liquids. Our challenge was to predict which liquids were most dense and which were least dense. We had to be very careful not to spill the liquids as they were dyed all different colours. We used safety goggles and wore gloves to protect ourselves.
It was an interesting morning – we are now planning our own experiments to do with light. If our experiment is really good we could go into a competition against other schools. Wish us luck!
