KS1 Drama Workshop
As a student that has just recently started at Cliddesden, I was very impressed with the Drama workshop. The children were completely engaged from the start and loved every minute of it. The enthusiasm from the teacher definitely wore off on each child and their imaginations were able to run wild.
The children particularly liked the part in the story where the drama teacher took them on a mission on a rocket ship up into space to Party Land to meet the party Bopper. They all swayed side to side, laughing and smiling as the rocket ship travelled up into space, with the help from one child who had to use a pretend map to guide them there. The children also loved the part where the party Bopper left the school hall to get changed and they all quickly jumped into the middle and ate the pretend cake before the party Bopper returned. The drama teacher was able to highlight the importance of recycling through a creative dramatic story. From that, each child was able to take away an important message through a creative and fun learning approach which they all throughly enjoyed.

Cathryn said - "We pretended we were super heroes and did super hero actions. We got into rockets, put our seat belts on and blasted off into space. We had fun!"
