KS1 - Punch and Judy
A real treat for KS1 when Mr Pugh entertained the children with his Punch and Judy show which linked in with their seaside topic.
A traditional show with all the characters; Mr Punch, Judy and the baby. PC World tried his best to keep order with appearances from the ghost and the devil. Of course the show featured the crocodile and sausages and it even had a visit from an Ofsted Inspector.
Mr Pugh explained the origin of Punch and Judy and how there are not many people carrying on the traditional show anymore. Therefore, we were extremely lucky to have him visit.
The children had the opportunity to ask questions and were fascinated by the whole experience.
