Year 1 and 2 Recorder Concert

Year 1 and 2 children have been learning to play descant recorder in weekly 'Listen2Me' sessions with Hampshire Music Service.
They have made amazing progress and have learnt several tunes in a range of styles. They have learnt the notes G, A, B, C and D and have even had a go at reading music.
The children have enjoyed working together, listening to each other and learning a new skill.
The term finished with a fantastic concert in front of family and friends and Year R who were very impressed at the wonderful recorder playing.
I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching the Year 1 and 2 children and seeing such an improvement - thank you.
