KS1 Cliddesden Garage Trip
As part of our Topic Work looking at Transport and Journeys and Planes, Trains and Automobiles, KS1 children enjoyed a trip to the Cliddesden Garage.
We compared parts of vintage cars to cars we drive nowadays such as the wheels, lights and grilles of the vehicles. We were surprised to find out that one of the cars had wheels made from wood and paraffin oil was used to light some of the lamps.
We split into three groups. We took it in turns to examine and sketch the vintage vehicles, compared petrol pumps and we were fascinated by the workshop.
