March March
It was a beautiful spring morning when we gathered at the school for the annual “March March”. This is a family walk of roughly two miles. Starting at the School, we headed up the Drove towards Farleigh Wallop Church, then cut around the edges of the fields and back up to the school. Some chose to take a leisurely amble along the route enjoying the sunshine, whilst others sprinted around the route. The Urn had barely had a chance to boil before the first three boys sprinted back into the playground. Whilst walking the children saw daffodils, wild garlic and Mr Davies saw a hare “haring” across the fields. All children received a chocolate Easter Egg when they finished and the adults a well-deserved cup of tea or coffee. Everyone partook of the biscuits with the ravenous walkers polishing off eight packets between them. Friends would like to thank everyone who took part or sponsored a walker. The total raised was £135.50.
