KS1 Percussion Concert
Year 1 and 2 presented a wonderful Spring concert to a very impressed audience, playing tuned percussion. The children played a selection of xylophones, met allophones and chime bars and performed brilliantly.
Year 1 treated the audience to classics such as 'London Bridge' and 'Hot Cross Buns' and a piece called 'Funky Blues', where every child played a solo!
Year 2 cheered everyone up on a grey morning playing a summery Calypso tune and showed a
variety of skills including fantastic listening
skills as they played along to the famous classical piece by Grieg - 'In the Hall of the Mountain King.'
All of the children did an amazing job and have learned a huge amount in the music lessons this term.
