Pirate Day

Willow Class had a Pirate Day. The children all looked very different, with fabulously imaginative costumes and ideas. They hunted for buried treasure in the sand, walked the plank, decorated mermaids and made pirate hats. They learned all about the meanings behind different pirate's flags and about some legendary female pirates! In PE we practised lots of important Pirate skills, loading cannon balls, climbing the rigging and listening to the Captain (Mrs Robinson).
