Art Club
KS1 has been very creative this term in the Cliddesden LUCA (Let Us Create Art) Club. We have been focusing on line and colour by using different media such as paint, pastels and printing.
We have painted colourful portraits, while looking at facial features and how to use line to represent these. We used line and shape in monochrome lino -printing and created our own versions of Kandinsky's circles.
We have some very exciting projects ahead of us. Painting cakes in Thiebaud style on canvas, mono printing and cyanotype artwork using natural materials.
It is so important for children to have a creative outlet during these challenging times.
