Year 1 and Year 2 Trip to Oceanarium
This week our KS1 children had an educational visit to Bournemouth where they visited The Oceanarium, the beach and the gardens.
They enjoyed touring the Oceanarium and finding out many facts about the animals. We also found out lots of information about animals and their habitats.
In class the children have been learning about features of towns and beaches and it was fun to explore these areas to see if we could identify any.
We experimented on the beach to find out if it was easier to draw pictures in the dry or wet sand. We collected pebbles, shells and seaweed to decorate these.
