Basingstoke Schools High 5s Netball Final
Our Netball Team took part in The Basingstoke Schools High 5s Netball Final at Russell Howard Park. The finals involved twelve teams, the first and second placed teams in each of the six leagues.
The twelve schools were grouped into two further leagues at the finals. We finished second in our League beating Bramley, St Mary’s and Oakley Juniors, drawing against Oakridge and losing to Whitchurch. This then put us into the final four. We were drawn against the other group winners St John’s who beat us 2-0. Our final game was against Whitchurch who did a double over us.
However, we finished in 4th place which is an amazing achievement considering how many teams started back in the autumn term. We also won a trophy for being the highest placed small school. Mrs Hussey is very proud of her team and they should be very proud of themselves.
