Cliddesden Election

Oak Class held their own elections, they formed five parties: The Strong Party, The A to E Party, The Smartie Party, The Cliddesden Independence Party and The Big Red Bus Party.

Each party designed a rosette with their party colours and logo and wrote a party manifesto, they all came up with interesting ideas and policies covering, Education, Health, Local Issue and Transport. The vote was held on Friday; before voting started each party was given time to show their party political broadcast and make a speech showcasing what they could do for the school.

It was a close election with The Strong Party being victorious followed by the The Big Red Bus Party, The Smartie Party, The Cliddesdsen Independence Party and finally The A to E Party.

Oak Class really enjoyed this experience and over the week they learnt a lot about the political and voting system.
