Conker Competition
Our annual Conker Competition is one of the most eagerly awaited dates in the diary for the children of Cliddesden Primary School.
Oak Class went first with their peers judging the competition, closely watched over by our adjudicating members of staff. All friendships were temporarily put to one side as the children competed for the class title. A close final between Alex and Evie with Evie being the overall winner.
It was then the turn of Chestnut Class. Some close matches, with all players performing to their best.
A winner for each year group in this class. Darcey was the victor for year 3 with Ellie-Rose taking the year 4 crown.
Finally it was KS1's turn. Our year R children came along to watch these matches which were all played in good spirit. The final was a close match between Bella and Sasha with Bella taking the glory for KS1.
Huge thanks to Mark Barden for volunteering to return to Cliddesden to arrange and manage this competition and to keep the tradition going.
