Year 5/6 Football - Hampshire cup

On The 28th September our Year 5/6 Football Team travelled to North Baddesley Junior School for the first round of the Hampshire Cup. There were several players new to the team and a few who had played for us last season. It was evident from kick off that North Baddesley were the stronger team and they scored very early on. At half time it was 6-1 to the opposition but our team still had their heads high and were eager to play a more competitive second half. Goals flew in from both teams in this half and the final result was 10-5 to North Baddesley.
Despite our defeat and bowing out of the cup, Mr Davies was very pleased with the overall performance and the fair play shown by Cliddesden. We now look forward to playing some friendly games against local schools later this academic year.
