Our year 5/6 Basketball Team took part in a Basingstoke Schools competition this week at The Vine School. They played 4 games, winning one, drawing one and narrowly losing the last two, coming 4th overall. Although this year we didn’t manage to qualify for the county finals, I was still impressed with the team’s effort and skill and in particular their outstanding teamwork and sense of fair play. Also, we did win a trophy for being the highest placed small school. |
