One World Dress Up Day
The theme of our Literacy Week has been ‘One World’. Not only have we been celebrating books, reading and writing but also cultural diversity in literature around the world.
We continued this theme on World Book Day and the children came to school dressed in either traditional costume from their class countries or the colours inspired by a flag from a different country.
Willow Class explored Western Europe, Beech Class – Eastern Europe, Chestnut Class – South America and Oak – Africa.
