Athletics Competition
Cliddesden took part in the Basingstoke schools indoor athletics competition at Cranbourne school. We competed well in the athletics competition with many individual and teams winning their races and field events. Everyone showed amazing team spirit, encouraging and congratulating each other. The determination to keep going when events were challenging was admirable and we have much to be proud of!
Mrs Robinson
On Wednesday 31st January, we went to Cranbourne school for an indoor athletics competition. Six boys and six girls were chosen to compete. Mrs Robinson and Mrs Nye took us and we had lots of fun. We all cheered each other on when we did our races and relay. We did some field events too like triple jump, long jump, javelin, chest push, target throw and speed bounce. We felt we did better than we placed but we still enjoyed it a lot. In the end, we came 7th out of 8 schools. The most challenging event for us was the relay races. Everyone displayed the school values, particularly resilience and aspiration.
