Year 2 and 3 visit Farleigh Wallop Estate
Years 2 and 3 went on an educational visit to The Farleigh Wallop Estate. On this countryside awareness day, we learned about the work on the estate, such as growing cereal crops and keeping bees. We also learned about the types of deer in this country and how to identify them. The local gamekeeper taught us how to make the most of the countryside by leaving only footprints where we have been. We walked to the farm along The Drove, clocking up four miles in total there and back! The weather was good for the outward journey but we got a bit wet on the way home!
