KS1 Gymnastics Competition
Four KS1 children enjoyed an afternoon at the Active Life Centre where they competed against 11 other schools in a gymnastics competition. They performed two routines one focussed on body management, showing strength and shape, and the other a skill based routine. The children had to perform the routine on their own on the large gymnastics floor. All four children demonstrated confidence and courage throughout.
They then completed the afternoon with some coaching from the Active Life Centre coaches. They practiced their balancing skills and used a spring board to jump. The children demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout, giving support to other teams. After the results of the two routines were collated we were pleased to have come 6th overall.
